Business Development Manager (Project Sales in Commercial Segment)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Business Development Manager shall actively promote ASSA ABLOY Electronic Access Control and Door Automation products and solutions to channel partners and end customers.
- Responsible for lead generation, estimating, providing quotations, relationship and concept selling
- This position will also be responsible for pricing and creating quotations, pre-bid qualifications forms, pre-bid contracts, RFI’s, contract scope issues, order processing, shop drawings, architectural submittals, change orders and job releases.
- Support system integrators’ sales, installation and support capabilities
- Specification of our entire Access Control solution in large project by engaging MEP consultants, architects, and contractors by successfully presenting the concept, technical details and feasibility study.
- Work constantly to acquire new Clients, retain as well as expand the scope of existing clients.
- Ability to get repeated business from existing customers; and provide commercial, marketing and strategic support to the existing accounts.
- Plan and implement lead generation activities through various means and develop new contacts.
- Educate the key stakeholders on technical aspects
- Train on ASSA ABLOY factory products, prospecting and understanding of door hardware and electric door hardware.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics) or any related field.• Minimum 3 years of Sales experience in the same industry.
- Proficiency with computer software applications including Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
- Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills are required.
- Detail orientated with strong organizational skills and time management habits.
- Motivated self-starter with a high aptitude for acquiring new skills and principles.
- Able to handle multitasks, work under pressure and working in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
