The Intravenous Therapy Nurse is responsible for performing all intravenous therapy treatments and providing direct nursing care to patients and ensuring the effective administration of intravenous medication and ensuring that excellent patient care is being provided during therapy sessions.
Qualifications/Requirements
Graduate of BS Nursing
Licensed Nurse under the Professional Regulations Commission- 2 years of experience in IVT and/or Dialysis
Licensed Intravenous Therapist
Updated Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
With a background in infection control practices
Preferably with ISO training, but not required.
