Art Director
The Art Director leads the execution of creative concepts across campaigns and platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand’s tone, strategy, and creative goals; oversees design direction, layout, and visual consistency. This role is also responsible for guiding designers and collaborating with writers, strategists, and accounts teams in delivering impactful creative work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of concepts, key visuals and multimedia content that align with brand strategy, storytelling, and campaign objectives
- Collaborate and lead the creative teams in brainstorming, ideation, and creative execution
- Ensure all multimedia outputs meet brand standards in design, aesthetics, and messaging. This includes encouraging juniors to provide output that showcases originality or uniqueness without compromising the brand's visual identity.
- Review, supervise and guide junior designers while supporting creative leads in concept development, providing constructive feedback and helping them develop their skills and creative approach.
- Recommend appropriate use of formats and medium that fit the project vision as well as manage the execution of digital and print visuals, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.
- Take charge of large design tasks and oversee their successful completion.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, who translate brainstormed concepts into polished client presentations—including mockups and concept boards—to ensure all design elements are delivered with creative excellence and meet every project deadline.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess an extensive background in design or creative direction, demonstrated by a strong portfolio that showcases their ability to lead visual storytelling and brand strategy. They should exhibit high-level proficiency in industry-standard design tools and a deep understanding of layout, typography, and color theory across both digital and print mediums.Beyond technical expertise, this role requires a professional with proven experience in mentoring junior talent and collaborating within cross-functional teams to meet rigorous deadlines. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the candidate must effectively translate complex creative concepts into compelling visuals for client-facing pitches and internal brainstorms.
