Job Title: Cook / Kitchen Staff

Job Summary:

The Cook or Kitchen Staff is responsible for preparing and cooking food, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times. They work closely with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes
• Assist in food preparation (washing, cutting, marinating ingredients)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed
• Monitor food stock and report shortages to the supervisor
• Store ingredients properly and check freshness of supplies
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• With or without experience (experience in kitchen/food service is an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
