About the role
Asticom Technology Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Encoder to join our Administration and Office Support team. This is a contract position based in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As an Encoder, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data systems by performing accurate and timely data entry and word processing tasks.This position is essential to ensuring that our business operations run smoothly and that all information is properly recorded and organised.
Key responsibilities- Inputting data accurately and efficiently into computer systems and databases from various sources including documents, forms and verbal information
- Verifying data for deficiencies or errors and correcting any inconsistencies to maintain data quality standards
- Organising and maintaining electronic and physical records in accordance with company procedures and filing systems
- Performing word processing tasks including typing, formatting and editing documents, reports and correspondence
- Meeting daily and weekly data entry targets and deadlines while maintaining accuracy standards
- Communicating with other departments to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to data protection protocols
- Supporting administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure efficient office operations
- Proven experience in data entry, word processing or similar administrative role
- Proficiency in using computer systems, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and data entry software
- Strong typing skills with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute and high accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Familiarity with database management systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality standards is preferred
