Logistics Supervisor / Leader

About the role

This is a full-time Logistics Supervisor / Leader position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As the Logistics Supervisor / Leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the Company's logistics operations ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods and materials.

What you'll be doing

1. Project Department: Supervise end-to-end customs clearance and transportation for heavy equipment shipments required for large-scale industrial projects (e.g., cement plant upgrades and general contracting).
2. Industrial Distribution Department: Oversee customs clearance and domestic distribution for product shipments, primarily catering to the localized distribution of the company's premium roofing systems and building materials.
3. Marketing Department: Manage the urgent customs clearance and prompt site delivery of spare parts shipments to support the aftermarket and maintenance needs of clients.

1. Plan, optimize, and execute transportation strategies for domestic distribution and complex cross-border cargo.
2. Manage day-to-day dispatching operations, site delivery schedules, and carrier performance to ensure continuous operations at construction sites.
3. Implement specialized Cold Chain Logistics protocols or specialized rigging/hauling methods when heavy machinery or sensitive components require it.

1. Directly lead hands-on customs declarations, inspection clearance, and continuous communication with freight forwarders.
2. Serve as an active conduit to Philippine regulatory bodies, upholding partnerships such as those with the Bureau of Customs (BOC) to ensure swift import processing times.
3. Maintain updated knowledge of international trade laws, tariffs, and localized regulations affecting building materials and industrial machinery.

1. Oversee localized warehouse management activities to ensure accurate inventory control of raw materials and accessories.
2. Utilize logistics information systems and tracking hardware, including GPS and RFID technologies, to monitor large-scale shipments.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain supervisory role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of logistics principles, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
• Proficient in project management, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Familiarity with logistics software and technology tools
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Customs, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
