Job Description:
- The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for maintaining quality customer service and the ability to solve problems at a fast pace and in a timely manner
- Reducing or eliminating payouts and reducing member complaints
- The Customer Care Specialist agent must be responsible, efficient, and be highly adaptable to changes and updates required by the operation
- Answer inbound customer service phone calls not limited to air, car, hotel, internal escalations from agents or partner escalations
- Resolve escalated customer service issues with members & amp properties
- Assist the Travel Resolution Management inbound queue upon management criteria
- Service member from point of initial reservation through completion of travel
- Determine how to best fulfill members' travel requests based on customer needs and available options
- Promptly reply to customer emails, return phone calls within 24 hours, prompt follow-through, resolve issues in a timely and appropriate manner
- Resolve a daily number of escalations per day determined by management to generate productivity of delivery
- Provide high-quality customer service and product knowledge regarding all member programs
- Schedule adherence and compliance with guidelines and policies of the department
Qualification and requirements (Non-negotiable):
- 1 year or more prior customer service experience
- Strong computer knowledge
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle escalated issues, difficult people, and/or situations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks by prioritization
- Travel industry knowledge preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime when approved
- Self-motivated, high tolerance to frustration and stress, quick learning abilities, adaptable to quick changes upon business needs
