Role Summary
This position focuses on supporting residential and light commercial structural projects, with exposure to international design standards and wood-frame construction. Training and guidance will be provided to help build familiarity with relevant codes and permitting requirements.
The role primarily involves structural design and may also include drafting or production work, depending on the candidate’s strengths. Responsibilities can be adjusted to align with the individual’s expertise across design, drafting, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for residential and small commercial projects
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and construction documents
- Develop and update drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and project stakeholders
- Review site documentation to support design decisions
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and standards
- Assess and provide solutions for existing structures
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience
- Experience in preparing construction drawings and documentation
- Familiarity with structural analysis and design tools
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Experience in residential or small commercial projects is an advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred
- Professional license or progress toward licensure is a plus
