Medical Technologist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, supplies, machines, and work area cleanliness
• Perform accurate and efficient laboratory examinations and quality control procedures
• Ensure proper specimen handling, traceability, and confidentiality of results
• Coordinate send-out specimens and monitor release of laboratory results
• Follow aseptic techniques, universal precautions, and proper waste disposal protocols
• Prepare reports, supply requests, and conduct inventory of reagents and laboratory materials
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of laboratory test results

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Medical Technology
• Registered Medical Technologist (RMT)
• With at least 6-months of experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting
• Knowledgeable in laboratory procedures, quality control, and safety protocols
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and communication skills
• Customer service oriented
