Systems Engineer - Cloud and Software Services

Job description:

• Performs installation and provide post-sales support for external customers at the least possible time to ensure that targeted and reasonable Turn-around time is achieved.
• Conduct continuous study, testing and simulation of our products and solutions. Attend internal and vendor sponsored training, or industry events to broaden knowledge and skills. Acquire technical certifications through self-study, sponsored, and paid certification trainings and examinations.
• Provide support on pre-sales activities such as preparation of Design, BOM, SOW, POC, Demo and Presentations.
• Provide in-house IT support to internal IT of servers and storages of Microgenesis.
• Conduct trainings to internal and external customers and co-engineers (cross training)
• Prepare, update and submit CRM, E-mail activity report, Service Slip and continuously coordinate with TSC Coordinator.
• Perform other functions that maybe assigned by TSC supervisors and Managers such as;

1. Provide in-house IT support to internal IT of Microgenesis
2. Provide technical assistance to other business groups
3. Other business/company related matters as needed

• Basic to advance knowledge in Open-Source Solutions – Red Hat, SUSE, Zimbra, and SSL
• Basic to advance knowledge in scripting
• Basic to advance knowledge in desktop (OS, Application, Troubleshooting, etc.)
• Basic knowledge in networking
• Knowledge in physical server setup, storage or data center equivalent
• Knowledge in information security is a plus
• Knowledge in Cloud technology is a plus
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): presentation skills, good oral and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, people skills, customer and interpersonal skills
