Customer Service Representative - Urgently Hiring!

About the role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the voice of our organisation, handling inbound and outbound customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and building lasting relationships with our clients. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.

1. Answering and directing customer calls with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information and assistance
2. Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and other communication channels in a timely manner
3. Resolving customer complaints and issues effectively, escalating complex matters to senior staff when necessary
4. Maintaining detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database
5. Processing customer requests, orders, and transactions accurately and efficiently
6. Providing product and service information to customers, highlighting features and benefits
7. Following company policies, procedures, and quality standards consistently
8. Participating in training programmes to enhance knowledge and develop customer service skills
9. Contributing to team goals and supporting colleagues to ensure smooth operations
10. Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and service delivery

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification
2. Proven experience in a customer service or call centre environment (at least 6 months to 1 year preferred); WITH OR WITHOUT BPO Experience are welcome to apply
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond empathetically
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult situations calmly
5. Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and customer relationship management (CRM) software
6. Fast typing speed and accuracy in data entry
7. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining quality standards
8. Excellent time management and organisational skills
9. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
10. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
11. Positive attitude and genuine desire to help customers
12. Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
