Design and Technical Specialist

Responsible for construction drawings, detailing, specification and material sourcing. Able to coordinate all designs to different and related parties of the project and account for re-use and sustain materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Design Specialist must be a graduate & must have a professional license in Interior design or Architecture with three (3) years of relevant retail/commercial interior fit out experience, must have MEP engineering trade knowledge, experience in technical coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and mall/LGU representatives, Must be able to operate Autodesk AutoCAD, Sketch up with V Ray/ Enscape.

• Managing external consultants, contractors, vendors, LGU and Mall personnel
• Extensive program / project management experience with retail projects (ie. Store in Store (SiS), Kiosks, In-house Projects) from inception to final completion and turnover of project.
• Experience in retail and interior fit out construction and coordination.
• Knowledgeable in construction cost estimate, budget monitoring and value engineering.
• Knowledge of applicable standards for the area of work and quality control.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Computer knowledge and skills on multiple platforms.
• Knowledgeable in construction methodologies, equipment, tools and manpower use
• Extensive skills for detailing & shop Drawings for Store design Projects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Implementation & Coordination including set-up supervision & management of manpower
• Responsible for handling technical BID and clarificatory
• Conducts a weekly coordination meeting with the team
• Responsible for complying and monitoring construction checklist
• Keeping up to date with all the projects
• Responsible for monitoring and validation project weekly, monthly and end report
• Conducts store visits
• Responsible for monitoring Ad hoc task
