Global Production Planner

Purpose of the position:

Support the production sites assigned to the planner, in:

• Ensuring maximal availability of products while keeping stock level as low as possible
• Support the Value Stream Planner in executing planning-relevant activities

Carry out assigned tasks within the defined time and quality

Tasks

Master data:

• Setting the MRP views in the material master for the respective plant (within the defined scope)
• Set-up/maintenance of production master data (bill of material, routing, etc.)

Materials planning (MRP):

• Ongoing optimization of MRP parameters and methods in line with the current demand situation (within the defined scope)
• Monitoring lot sizes with regard to optimal planning
• Monitoring the defined replenishment lead times
• Materials planning, i.e., daily processing of MRP proposals
• Calculation of safety stock and reorder points based on consumption and replenishment lead times
• Continuous monitoring of the defined MRP parameters
• Continuous optimization of automatable processes

Communication:

• Monitoring and communicating KPIs (backlogs, stock turnover, scrapping due to expiration date, etc.)
• Recording KPIs in the SF boards
• Communication with the Value Stream Planner (the assigned value streams)
• Taking over tasks when discontinuing and introducing production (submit discontinuation request, adjust master data, etc.)
• Closing/archiving production orders in SAP
• Implementation and compliance with the requirements of the Safety Manual
• Implementation and compliance with the requirements of the Employee Handbook
• Implementation and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Acts as a role model in alignment with the corporate values of the Ivoclar Group

• Technical or commercial training, e.g., a business degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management
• Several years of professional experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management, planning and MRP
• Good knowledge of SAP (PP module) and MS Excel
• English skills, spoken and written
