Associate Lawyer

MARASIGAN LAW OFFICE, located in Mandaluyong City, is a general practice firm that renders legal services in various fields of law. It manages a wide range of cases, including criminal proceedings, energy-related matters, and other civil and regulatory issues.

The Firm is seeking an Associate Lawyer who is diligent, detail-oriented, and proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other legal instruments, conducting substantive legal research, and assisting in the management and strategy of cases.

• Work Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft and prepare legal correspondence and documents, including pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements, in support of contract negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Carry out legal research and assist in the preparation for, and attendance at, hearings and other proceedings.
• Assess legal issues and conflicts, provide clients with appropriate advice, and represent them in courts and negotiations.
• Coordinate with other associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure the efficient handling of cases.
• Organize and maintain client files to keep records current and readily accessible to attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in litigation for at least three (3) years and thorough knowledge of procedures.
• Strong legal research and writing skills, and case management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
