Refacing Specialist-Helper Mechanic
About the role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Refacing Specialist-Helper Mechanic to join our team at Master Garage QC.' in Fairview Quezon City Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the vehicles of our valued customers.
What you'll be doing- Operate safely and effectively the refacing machine and its related accessories.
- Act as primary caretaker in the usage and maintenance of the refacing machine.
- Train other personnel on how to operate the refacing machine should the need arise.
- Perform helper mechanic task whenever there are no refacing related jobs.
- Assist mechanics with task such as gathering parts.
- Runner for errands related to a job order
- Organizing parts and components related to a job order as directed by mechanic.
- Cleaning components and mechanical parts as directed by mechanic.
- Keeping immediate work area organized and ensuring tools and parts are looked out for and accounted for.
- Other ad hoc task that will assist the mechanics optimize the job order.
- Strong practical skills and experience in automotive repair and maintenance, preferably in the Automotive Trades industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Familiarity with a range of hand tools and power tools used in the automotive industry
- Committed to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Holder of at least NC1/NC2 for Automotive Servicing Certificate.
- Experience in operation of refacing machine or similar equipment is a plus but not required.
- Willing to have paid training at Master Garage Cavite Branch for a minimum of 1 month (Free accommodation, water, electricity, lunch and PM Snack) - THIS IS A REQUIREMENT.
