About the role
We are seeking a talented Senior Salesforce Developer to join our growing team at NYGC Services, Inc. in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level Salesforce solutions that drive business value across our organisation.As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for architecting robust technical solutions, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality customisations and integrations that align with our strategic business objectives.
Key responsibilities- Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and Flow automation to meet complex business requirements
- Architect scalable and maintainable solutions that follow Salesforce best practices and coding standards
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and applications using APIs and middleware technologies
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to development standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and system defects in production and non-production environments
- Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Maintain and optimise existing Salesforce implementations, including upgrades and platform enhancements
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends to continuously improve solutions
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead developer capacity
- Proven expertise in Apex programming, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, including configuration, customisation, and integration patterns
- Experience with Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and other declarative automation tools
- Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, and integration technologies such as MuleSoft or similar middleware
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Salesforce certifications such as Certified Platform Developer I and II, or Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience mentoring and training junior developers is a plus
