Qualifications:
- At least 15 years of IT project management role with proven capacity on implementing and managing multiple projects that involve cross-functional teams and external parties.
- Have successfully implemented IT projects for various industries, preferably for retail or e-commerce
- Proficient on the use of various project management tools (such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Asana, Trello, Wrike, Monday.com, ClickUp, Jira) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Hybrid, Waterfall or Traditional)
- With a bachelor’s degree on information technology, computer science or any engineering course from a reputable university
- PMP Certification and ITIL v3 workshop completion would be a plus.
Job Description:
Project Management and Documentation- Oversee and coordinate multiple IT projects to achieve strategic business goals under the general supervision of the Senior IT Manager. Involved in aligning projects with organizational objectives, managing resources, and ensuring successful delivery through effective planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Plan, create and implement project work plans required by business owners, sponsors and users.
- Identify and select required technical resources to outsource
- Monitor and control the scope, time, budget and expenditures
- Hand-over to Operation management (Prod support) relating to Overview of the project, knowledge artifacts (FAQ) and documentation
- Creation and review project documents in compliance to standards
- Manage both document and software version control
- Preparation of training materials, user manual and successful training.
- Communicate and facilitate/organize meetings with support groups / departments, project team and business owners
- Creation and review of System Architecture
- Safeguard system architecture against redundant and/or unused systems.
- Remediate vulnerability and penetration testing findings on systems being and already implemented
- Data integrity amongst systems
- Screening on introduction of systems as well as retiring of applications
- Monitor, control, and optimize IT-related expenses (CAPEX and OPEX) by evaluating, estimating, and analyzing IT costs, including hardware, software, implementation, and integration, with the goal of forecasting expenses, preventing budget overruns, and maximizing return on IT investments
- Maintain partnership with external IT vendors and service providers. This covers vendor endorsement and selection, contract negotiation through NTP, onboarding, risk mitigation, and payments facilitation
- Facilitate the recruitment, training, performance management, and workforce scheduling of various shared pool of IT manpower resources, all aimed at ensuring the right people with the right skills are available at the right time to support IT operations and projects, allocation, and optimization of IT personnel and skills to meet the organization's needs based on current and future project requirements
