Who We Are

Staff Domain is partnering with a global engineering and construction firm specializing in large-scale industrial and mission-critical infrastructure projects. The organization is known for integrating advanced BIM workflows with in-house fabrication, automation technologies, and end-to-end project delivery across design, manufacturing, and installation.

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical and piping projects using drawings and specifications
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bill of materials
• Analyse project plans, schedules, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with the Australian estimating team to meet tender deadlines
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and pricing
• Identify project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing records
• Assist in preparing tender submissions and supporting documentation
• Work independently in a remote environment while maintaining clear communication

• Experienced Estimator or Quantity Surveyor with a background in mechanical construction, particularly piping systems
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in iTwo CostX, Bluebeam, and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with construction drawings, specifications, and estimation processes
• Comfortable collaborating with international or Australian-based teams
• Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills
• Self-driven, organised, and capable of managing deadlines independently
• Adaptable and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Degree or diploma qualified in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience with Australian standards, PowerBI, or data analytics is an advantage
