Senior qa analyst
Metro Manila | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite Per Week) | 1-Year Project-Based Contract (Extendable)
NTT DATA is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to help ensure the quality, reliability, and successful delivery of enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.
This role is ideal for a quality-focused professional with experience in manual testing, test automation, defect management, and Agile delivery environments. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and QA leads to deliver high-quality software solutions from testing through release.
What You'll Do- Design, develop, and execute test cases for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage
- Create and maintain test scenarios, test data, and test documentation
- Execute test cases, record results, and manage defects using Azure DevOps
- Support UAT activities and coordinate defect resolution with project teams
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and integration testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform backend testing, data validation, and SQL-based verification
- Provide testing status reports, quality metrics, and risk assessments
- Recommend improvements to testing processes, coverage, and automation practices
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of Software QA or Testing experience
- Strong experience in:
- Test planning and test case design
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Regression Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Defect management and issue tracking
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills for backend validation and testing
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices
- API testing and integration testing experience
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
- Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSM or PSM
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise systems or finance-related platforms
- Work on enterprise-wide digital transformation and modernization projects
- Gain exposure to automation, CI/CD, and Agile delivery practices
