Position title: PLANT DIRECTOR - SUCAT (1 Vacancy)

Job Description:

• Maintain a safe and environment friendly operations by ensuring that the appropriate Safety Program and Environmental Management System are developed and put in place to secure employees and company property and comply with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the safety & security of employees, visitors in the compound, products, assets and proprietary information of the company.

• Ensure food safety adherence in manufactured products by directing the implementation of the Plant HACCP Program to protect consumers from any harm that maybe brought about by the use/ingestion of the product.
• Manufacture product of consistent quality by developing and implementing the Plant Quality Plan to satisfy the ever-changing needs of the customer.

• Ensure the attainment of production volumes by directing manufacturing, business development, production logistics, quality systems and project engineering to support the requirements of the different business units (MI and AP).
• Ensure the proper level of material stocks by implementing adequate inventory control systems to manage working capital within budgets.

• Continuously improve plant reliability by ensuring the development and implementation of a comprehensive Maintenance Program that is abreast with technological advancements to fully serve customer requirements.

• Generate productivity savings by driving cost improvement in all areas of plant operations to strive for lowest imaginable cost utilizing Lean and Six Sigma Principles.
• Manage the total cost of plant operations by planning and controlling the cost of yield loss, direct labor cost, variable manufacturing cost and fixed manufacturing expense to provide price competitive products to the different business units.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of plant financials by adhering to the company’s accounting policies and guidelines to adequately control manufacturing cost and to provide cost data as input to the P&L of the different business units.
• Direct the management of capital expenditures by preparing a capacity analysis, planning for the necessary interventions identified and ensuring that budgets are maximized to sustain plant and business operations in support of business requirements.
• Manage labor costs by upholding company interest during CBA discussions to be a cost-effective manufacturer.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualification (Education, Experience, Professional License, Skills Certification, Specialized Training):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
• Must have at least 10 years’ experience in a food manufacturing plant.
• Minimum 5 years managerial experience in Manufacturing, quality, EMS/OHASAS systems management.
• Proven track record in overseeing large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Experience in managing, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
