Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate is responsible for supporting daily accounting tasks such as recording transactions, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting in financial reporting. This role helps maintain accurate and timely financial records in line with company standards and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and monitor daily financial transactions (sales, expenses, etc.)
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, receipts, and official documents
• Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Help in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Maintain organized filing of accounting documents
• Support audits, inventory checks, and financial reviews
• Assist with payroll-related data encoding or report generation (if assigned)
• Communicate with suppliers or internal departments for billing or payment concerns
• Ensure all financial entries comply with accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience in bookkeeping or general accounting is a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Can handle confidential data responsibly
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Willing to work under pressure and meet deadlines
