We are looking for a diligent Purchasing Coordinator to manage the purchasing activities of our company. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing materials and services, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that the company's procurement processes run smoothly.

This role is critical in maintaining efficient supply chain operations and ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with other departments to forecast needs and plan purchases accordingly.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, and ensure accuracy in pricing, specifications, and delivery terms.
  • Review and evaluate supplier bids and proposals to determine the most suitable options.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery, addressing any issues that may arise with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and pricing.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Coordinator, Buyer, or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain procedures and best practices.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
