Role Overview
This Accountant role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, with a strong focus on bank reconciliations, month-end procedures, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bookkeeping functions.
The role will also support invoice and bill processing, supplier payments, audit requirements, and timesheet administration for payroll support while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accurate bookkeeping and financial records in Xero, including transaction coding, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Process supplier invoices, bills, AP transactions, creditor payment runs, and supplier payments.
- Support AR functions, including invoice processing, payment allocation, customer reconciliations, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Process and validate timesheet data to support payroll preparation when required.
- Maintain financial documentation and support audit, reporting, compliance, and process improvement requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles.
- Strong background in AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience with Xero is highly preferred.
- Exposure to payroll support, audit, or financial compliance is an advantage.
- Australian accounting experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and good written and verbal English communication.
- Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday - Friday, Morning Shift)
