About the Role

Clicktek Consulting Inc. is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide network infrastructure for a U.S.-based global brand. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring deep expertise in Fortinet firewalls, Cisco/Meraki networks, and hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

You'll work independently and with minimal supervision to deliver large-scale, high-impact changes that improve network segmentation, performance, and security across distributed sites—including production IoT environments.

• Architect and deploy resilient firewall clusters, SD-WAN, and site-to-site connectivity using FortiGate, FortiManager, and Meraki/Cisco technologies
• Analyze current regional networks and design segmentation plans to enhance security posture and fault tolerance
• Lead execution of site-wide changes, including downtime-sensitive deployments across hundreds of users
• Build and manage hybrid cloud connectivity (AWS Transit Gateway, Azure VWAN, VPN, Direct Connect, etc.)
• Automate network configurations via Terraform, Ansible, and vendor APIs; develop custom scripts using Python or PowerShell
• Configure and tune security systems (IPS/IDS, NAC, FortiSIEM, NetFlow/SNMP monitoring)
• Maintain documentation: network diagrams, runbooks, and change-control procedures
• Perform root-cause analysis and participate in war room troubleshooting when needed

• 8+ years in enterprise network engineering, with proven experience in Fortinet NGFWs and Cisco Meraki
• Strong command of FortiOS (NAT, VPN, SD-WAN, HA), FortiManager, Meraki switches and WAPs
• In-depth understanding of BGP, OSPF, VLAN/VXLAN, IPv6, QoS, and RF design for high-density Wi-Fi
• Experience with hybrid cloud integration (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and automation scripting (Python/PowerShell)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS
• Strong communication skills, comfortable interfacing with U.S. stakeholders during PH mid-shift
• Excellent problem-solving and self-management capabilities

Preferred (Bonus Points For):

• Certifications: Fortinet NSE 5–7, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Meraki CMSS/CMNA
• Experience with IoT-heavy environments and NAC tools (e.g., ClearPass, Cisco ISE)
• Exposure to SASE/SSE platforms (FortiSASE, Zscaler, Prisma SASE)
