What is the job?

The Mortgage Support Specialist is responsible in providing frontline support to borrowers and Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding users through mortgage-related processes.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for borrowers and MLOs via phone, email, and chat.
• Assist borrowers with loan applications and required documentation.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to mortgage products and processes.
• Guide MLOs on policies, loan products, and customer concerns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve loan issues and ensure smooth processing.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain documentation, and stay updated on industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years in customer service experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Tier 1 or similar support role within the mortgage or financial services industry.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and ability to work within time constraints.
• Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Learns quickly and adapts to new systems, policies, and procedures.
• Manages multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
