DevOps Developer – Japanese Bilingual
As an Application Developer at IBM, you'll work with clients to co-create solutions to major real-world challenges by using best practice technologies, tools, techniques, and products to translate system requirements into the design and development of customized systems. In your role, you may be responsible to:
- Practice your skills in popular DevOps automation tools, can perform installation and configuration of these tools on cloud or non-cloud infrastructure.
- Understand the project and application context and accordingly configure the DevOps tools, setup continuous integration for automated and continuous builds, develop build script & versioning, build packaging and deployment on the server, and setup continuous testing.
- Be knowledgeable of software engineering processes, coding (Java, Shell, Python), DevOps best practices, SDLC processes.
- Able to install, configure and intergate opensource DevOps toolchains (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible etc.)
- Build and manage pipelines using the toolchains and ensure that pipelines are up and running during agreed business hours
- Strong Pyspark (python and spark) development experience using multiple RDDMS such as (Hive, DB2)
- Strong working environment in unix scripting and knowledge using data sets and knowledge of software engineering processes, coding (Java, Shell, Python), DevOps
- Native Japanese language proficiency or JLPT N1-N3 Certification
