Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

• Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and financial controls
• Ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests by maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
• Developing and implementing effective strategies to drive revenue, optimise efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience
• Providing hands-on leadership and support to the restaurant team, including training, scheduling, and performance management
• Monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and managing food and beverage costs to maintain profitability
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost-monitoring
• Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
