Quezon City - Software Engineer (Hybrid) - PHP

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Hybrid) - PHP to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila. This full-time role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality PHP-based software solutions that drive the success of our energy and infrastructure business.

1. Develop and implement complex PHP-based web applications and APIs
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
3. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
4. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment
5. Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and ensure application performance and reliability
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest PHP technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
7. Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance the team's overall technical capabilities

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in developing PHP-based web applications and APIs
3. Proficient in PHP, Laravel, and other PHP frameworks and tools
4. Strong understanding of RESTful API design, database management, and front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
5. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/deployment workflows
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills
8. Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
