The Java Programmer position requires excellent problem solving and analytical skills in addition to a high level of competency in object oriented design and programming. The Programmer is responsible for general tasks, such as writing, designing, fixing and maintaining computer software code written mainly in the Java programming language.Should be able to provide permanent solutions to production issues and incidents and should be able to interact with other application teams for solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs complex product development, systems analysis and programming activities which may require some research and analysis.
- Performs development, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or on lower and higher level issues of multiple products.
- Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
- Participate in reviewing deliverables from other development teams, including designs, test plans, and documentation help identify and resolve gaps between requirements and technical design.
- Performs moderately complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
- Researches new technology or development tools to remain secured and informed of current technology.
- Solid experience in using the following technologies per category:
Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and JQuery
Markup Languages: XML and JSON Java Technologies: J2EE, JSTL, JSP, Servlet API, JDBC API, Java Persistence API
Web Services: JAX-RS REST and JAX-WS SOAP
Database: MS SQL Server, Oracle Server and MySQL
Cloud Technology: Amazon Web Services is a plus
Job Qualifications: Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any 4 year IT related field.
At least 1 year of Jr. IT Programmer (JAVA) experience.Good communication, organizational and technical skills to provide support for projects
Qualifications/Requirements- Candidate must be a graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- With at least 2 year relevant experience
