Patient Scheduling Coordinator (OrthoSports MedPT) | Permanent WFH

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments across orthopedic, sports medicine, and physical therapy practices.
• - Verify insurance information, authorizations, and referrals prior to scheduling.
• - Manage highvolume inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• - Utilize RingCentral or similar communication software for patient coordination, messaging, and call management.
• - Communicate appointment details, previsit instructions, and followup requirements to patients.
• - Collaborate with providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure optimal scheduling and patient care.
• - Maintain accurate records in the scheduling system and update patient information as needed.
• - Handle cancellations, reschedules, and urgent appointment requests.
• - Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring a positive experience.
• Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Patient Scheduling Coordinator or in a similar healthcare administrative role.
• - Experience in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, andor Physical Therapy specialties.
• - Strong knowledge of insurance verification and referralauthorization processes.
• - Proficiency in medical scheduling systems (EMREHR experience required; Athena, Epic, or equivalent preferred).
• - Required: Knowledge of RingCentral or similar call management software.
• - Excellent communication, multitasking, and problemsolving skills.
• - Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, highvolume medical environment.
• - Amenable to work during U.S. business working hours.
