Position Summary:

The Assistant Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory reporting, gross profit margin analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide leadership to the Inventory Accounting Associate, including training and performance monitoring.
• Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of inventory reports provided by the associate.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and ensure correct postings in the accounting system (SAP).
• Investigate inventory variances and discrepancies to ensure precise financial reporting.
• Continuously assess and enhance inventory accounting processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Provide insights and financial analysis to support decisions related to inventory management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process controls and inventory procedures.
• Participate in inventory-related projects including system upgrades and control improvements.

• Analyze and monitor gross profit margins across various products and business segments.
• Compare margin trends against historical data and industry benchmarks to identify risks and opportunities.
• Investigate key drivers of margin changes such as pricing strategies, COGS, and volume fluctuations.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders through well-structured presentations and reports.
• Collaborate across departments to implement improvements aimed at margin optimization.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of gross profit reports.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required by management.

• Provide required inventory-related reports and documentation to external auditors.
• Address audit inquiries promptly and with clarity.

• Document processes and findings related to inventory and gross profit procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and internal strategic directions.
• Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

• Must possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• CPA certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
• 4–5 years of progressive experience in finance, with leadership and team supervision, preferably in inventory accounting or related functions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and other financial systems.
• Deep understanding of cost accounting principles, including inventory costing and variance analysis.
• Proficient in analyzing and interpreting inventory-related financial metrics.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to report onsite full-time in Banawe, Quezon City.
