DELIVERY DRIVER

Key responsibilities include loading/unloading vehicles, following GPS routes, complying with traffic laws, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate delivery logs and vehicle maintenance.

• Safe Operation: Driving vehicles (cars, vans, trucks) safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Loading/Unloading: Preparing, loading, and unloading products, sometimes lifting heavy items
• Route Efficiency: Utilizing GPS and mapping software to follow assigned routes and meet tight deadlines.
• Customer Service: Providing professional service, verifying orders, and obtaining signatures or proof of delivery.
• Documentation & Payment: Completing logs, reports, and collecting payments.
• Vehicle Care: Performing basic maintenance checks, refueling, and reporting issues.

• License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages, often up to 50 lbs or more.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Technology: Familiarity with GPS and handheld scanning devices.

Time Management: Punctuality and efficiency.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
