Payroll Officer
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

- Experience:
Ø Minimum 2–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a national or multi-branch organization.
Ø Experience managing full-cycle payroll (timekeeping, salary computation, deductions, benefits, taxes, and bonuses).
Ø Familiarity with local labor laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements.- Attitude:
Ø Responsible, organized, and proactive.
Ø Problem-solving oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
Ø Continuous learner, staying updated on payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
Ø Team player who can collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams.- Skills:
Ø Advanced proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, SAP, Oracle, Kronos)
Ø Strong understanding of payroll processing, statutory compliance, and reporting.
Ø Excellent Excel and data management skills for payroll calculations and reporting
Ø Knowledge of tax filing, social contributions, employee benefits, and garnishments.
Ø Confidentiality and integrity - handles sensitive employee and financial information responsibly.
Ø Analytical skills – identifies discrepancies and resolves payroll-related issues efficiently.
Ø Time management – meets strict payroll deadlines consistently.
Ø Communication skills – can explain payroll policies and resolve employee inquiries effectively.
