Spare Parts Interpreter (Onsite)

Job Description:

• Customer Communication:
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone promptly.
• Follow-up on call-backs from missed calls promptly.
• Respond to customer enquiries by email promptly.
• Respond to customer enquiries by internet lead promptly.
• Respond to customer enquiries by Podium portal promptly.
• Communication Efficiency:
• Handle customer enquiries by phone efficiently.
• Maximise volume of customer enquiries by phone that are attended to first time.
• Parts Identification:
• Accurately interpret customer requirements and identify correct parts using industry systems and tools.
• Transaction Processing:
• Prepare accurate commercial documentation (quotes, invoices, picking slips) to support sales transactions.
• Revenue & Margin Delivery:
• Contribute to revenue growth while maintaining agreed margin expectations.
• Convert created quotes as a result of consistent quote follow ups.
• Customer Experience:
• Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain professional conduct in all interactions.
• KPI / Service Level Delivery:
• Achieve or exceed agreed service levels and commercial performance targets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering, or any related field.
• Proven experience as a Spare Parts Interpreter within a dealership environment.
• Experience in preparing quotes, invoices, and sales-related documentation.
• Experience in using parts and dealership systems.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, components, and cataloguing systems.
• Ability to follow up quotes and convert enquiries into sales opportunities.
• Ability to handle high-volume phone and email enquiries efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
