About the role
Ruvimo is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Online Math Tutor to join our dynamic team. As an Online Math Tutor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality educational support to students, helping them excel in mathematics. This is a part-time role based for tutors based in Philippine, allowing you to work flexibly and around your other commitments.
What you'll be doing- Developing and delivering engaging, interactive online math lessons to k12 students based in the US.
- Assessing students' strengths, weaknesses and learning needs to tailor your approach and provide personalised support
- Monitoring student progress, providing timely feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly
- Collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students
- Maintaining detailed records of student progress and lesson plans
- Participating in regular training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies
- A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Math Tutor online for US
- Excellent knowledge of mathematics concepts and the ability to explain them clearly and effectively
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and technologies
- Patience, creativity and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
- Flexible and adaptable approach to accommodate the needs of diverse learners
