Analytics Data Build and Visualization Developer

About the Role

This role spans both data build and visualization from data structures within the ISMS ecosystem, and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

• Act as the prime mover of design, development, testing, and deployment of local and master data models for ISMS Analytics, covering the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipeline for data from ISMS and its related ecosystem of applications.
• Manage and tune query performance to achieve optimal model structure.
• Create and monitor data quality dashboards, collaborating with the respective development team and cross-functional business team to address issues.
• Design and implement access models, including dynamic row-level security and protocols for seamless updates of BI users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on developing data sharing policies and integrations.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy reports, dashboards, metrics, apps, data catalogs, monitoring objects, and other workspace objects.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced analytics products (e.g., prescriptive models leading to forecasts, sentiment analysis results, etc.) in reference to the analytics maturity model.
• Collaborate with the Solutions Architect, product owners, and stakeholders to implement products following good UI/UX practices and design principles for analytics products.
• Facilitate demos, User Acceptance Testing, trainings, and hyper care for assigned deliverables.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of general professional experience in analytics, with a focus on data engineering and visualization, of which the last 5 years are related to the use of Microsoft Power BI.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience on an agile delivery project.

• Experience with developing AI components is an advantage.
• Experience with data warehouse methodologies and data lakes, agnostic of tool, is an advantage.
• Strong expertise in data manipulation languages such as SQL, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), and Power Query M language.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

• Proficient in the use of Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Experience working with enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or its open-source counterpart is an advantage.

• Certification in Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate and Power BI Data Analyst are desired.
