Job Description

Position title : PRODUCTION ASSITANT MANAGER

• Assist in the planning, organizing, and coordination of daily production activities.
• Supervise production teams to ensure output aligns with production schedules and quality standards
• Monitor the manufacturing process of eyewear products, ensuring proper use of machines, tools, and materials.
• Support the Production Manager in achieving productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction goals.
• Ensure proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Coordinate with Quality Control to minimize defects and ensure all products meet visual and functional standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues, escalating when necessary.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance teams for machine upkeep and preventive maintenance schedules

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a production supervisory or assistant managerial role in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the eyewear industry or related fields (e.g., precision plastic, injection molding, or optical products).. We value skills, knowledge, and actual performance over formal education credentials.
• Strong knowledge of eyewear production processes, including frame assembly, lens edging, polishing, fitting, and inspection.
• Familiarity with manufacturing standards and quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, 5S, Lean Manufacturing).
• Experience in production planning, manpower management, and machine utilization.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must be results-oriented, able to work under pressure, and flexible with work schedules (shifting/extended hours as needed).
• Good understanding of health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
