Assistant Product Development Manager - FMCG Trading

The Assistant Product Development Manager will support our growing portfolio of FMCG brands. This role is ideal for a candidate with a passion for consumer products, a keen interest in global markets, and the desire to learn the full product development lifecycle.

• International Trading
• Will handle international sourcing, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.
• Experience in diverse consumer markets and cultural preferences that influence product design and marketing.
• Product Development
• Market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and consumer trends.
• Help define product specifications, features, and positioning.
• Coordinate with suppliers, R&D teams, and manufacturing partners to source and test prototypes.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure all product development milestones are met.
• Creation of product samples, mock-ups, and presentations for internal review.
• Project Coordination & Collaboration:
• Act as a central point of contact for cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Sourcing, and Operations.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment on all product development activities.
• Maintain detailed product documentation, including specifications, cost sheets, and project reports.
• Quality & Compliance:
• Assist in ensuring that all new products meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams to manage product testing and feedback.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in product development, brand management, or a related role within the FMCG or trading industry.
• A strong interest in international business and consumer trends.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
