WITH SERVICE CHARGE

As a Head Cook you are responsible with:

  • Supervise kitchen staff and oversee daily food preparation.
  • Ensure dishes are prepared according to standards, recipes, and quality requirements.
  • Plan and organize kitchen operations, including food inventory and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen.
  • Train and guide kitchen staff to improve skills and efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • At least Senior High School graduate; vocational training, culinary degree, or college-level education in culinary arts, hospitality, or food service management is an advantage
  • At least one (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen, lead, or head cook role is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, menu planning, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards; certified in food handling is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in supervising, training, and evaluating kitchen staff to maintain productivity, consistency, and quality.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage kitchen operations, including procurement, inventory control, and proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Skilled in coordinating with management on menu development, cost management, and implementing operational improvements.
  • Proficient in monitoring kitchen activities, maintaining accurate records of inventory, wastage, and daily operations for reporting purposes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage kitchen teams and coordinate with other departments.
  • Capable of maintaining high performance and quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Reliable, disciplined, and able to make decisions under pressure.
  • Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required by business operations.
  • Willing to be assigned or transferred to different branches based on operational needs.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach, strong work ethic, problem-solving ability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
