Overview

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Customer Service & Scheduling Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our company. In this role, you will manage incoming calls, assist customers with alarm-related inquiries, schedule service appointments, and ensure all interactions are handled with efficiency and care.

You will drive a positive customer experience for our security clients while coordinating critical service operations across internal departments.

Schedule:

  • 9:00 am - 5:00 pm PST, Full-time role

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service, particularly for alarm-related inquiries and service requests
  • Gather accurate and complete information from callers
  • Route calls to the appropriate department, technician, or internal contact
  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments as needed
  • Maintain clear, detailed, and accurate call notes in the system
  • Handle multiple incoming calls simultaneously while remaining calm and organized
  • Support urgent or time-sensitive situations with professionalism and urgency
  • Perform general receptionist and administrative duties as required
  • Represent the company positively in every customer interaction

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate systems efficiently
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Professional, dependable, and courteous phone manner
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially during urgent situations
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, customer service representative, or call center agent (preferred)

Nice to have:

  • Background in security, alarm monitoring, home services, or similar industries is an advantage but not required
  • Experience handling inbound customer service calls or dispatch coordination
