About the role
As our Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials.
What you'll be doing
Specific Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure that the forklift machine is in good condition and has fully charged batteries before use.
- Unloads merchandise from the truck/container van in a safe manner.
- Ensure that all merchandise loaded is placed on pallets.
- Checks the item numbers if correct and linked with Universal Product Code (UPC) by scanning the merchandise.
- Receives good merchandise.
- Puts BINTAG for every item.
- Issues forms for RVT items, Rejection Form for excess merchandise.
- Observes proper grooming and wearing and wearing of prescribed company uniform.
- Ensures that punctuality is observed.
- Practices courtesy towards everyone whether members, visitors, or employees.
Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
What we're looking for- At least 1 year of experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehousing or distribution environment
- Valid forklift operator's license and certification
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
