The Company Nurse is primarily responsible for providing the employees with basic healthcare services and promoting occupational health and safety in the workplace.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • License: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • BOSH OHNAP Certification is required.
  • At least 3- 5 Year(s) of working experience as a Company Nurse is an advantage.
  • Candidate must possess strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
  • Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Candidate must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Candidate must be goal oriented and can work under minimum supervision.
What will you do?
  1. Educate employees about health and wellness through regular health bulletin and seminars.
  2. Develop and implement other wellness programs including preventive health maintenance in the workplace.
  3. Monitor and report general wellness of employees.
  4. Provide first-aid services for injuries and illnesses.
  5. Searches and make referrals for more professional medical/health care services.
  6. Conduct health counselling session with sickly employee.
  7. Conduct background check and/or home visit to verify and address health issues.
  8. Monitor, report and address health risks in the workplace.
  9. Monitor, report and release advisory on local and world-wide epidemic.
  10. Examine pre-employment medical requirements/records to ensure physical fitness for the job.
  11. Record health-related services and concerns.
  12. Monitor and comply with government related requirements.
  13. Continuously search for best HMO and DMO services/providers.
  14. Replenish medicine every 15th of the month.
  15. Join in employee events requiring medical services.
  16. Undergo continuous personal health education and the necessary certification.
  17. Ensure orderliness and cleanliness of company's medical/clinical facilities.
