Accounting assistant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collects or receives all payables such as but not limited to project billings from sub-contractors and completion or building evaluation documents from the Operations Department, utility bills, office rentals, insurances, taxes and other related documents.
• Performs timekeeping and payroll computation of employees.
• Works closely with the Accounting Officer in processing project billings to ensure that all necessary documents are attached and accurate.
• Coordinates with the Accounting Officer in ensuring that all payments being released are accurate and coincides with the Operations Departments evaluation and assessment of project billings being billed by sub-contractors.
• Ensures that all transactions and reports are accurate and are double checked by the Accounting Head to avoid errors and delay in payments and penalties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Accountancy, Management Accounting, Banking & Finance or any related course;
• Computer literate and with knowledge in Basic Accounting Principles and familiarity with QuickBooks or other related accounting system;
• With good written and communication skills, keen attention to details, good analytical, computation and mathematical skills;
• Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision; and
• At least 1 year of working experience in the same field.
• Open to entry-level applicants, including fresh graduates.
