Role:
We are looking for a talented Mid-Level Java Developer with strong proficiency in Spring Boot to contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Java programming, hands-on experience with Spring Boot, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Development & Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and third-party services.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
- Participate in design and planning sessions to understand project requirements and objectives.
Optimization:
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
- Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues in a timely manner.
Code Quality:
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Learning & Growth:
- Stay up to date with the latest Java and Spring Boot technologies.
- Continuously improve technical skills and share knowledge with team members.
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with Java development, including a strong focus on Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Basic understanding of ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests using frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
- Exposure to messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Flexibility in work hours and location, with a focus on managing energy rather than time.
