Key Responsibilities:

Processing Transactions:

Cashiers scan items, calculate totals, accept various forms of payment (cash, credit/debit cards, etc.), and provide receipts.

Customer Service:

They greet customers, answer questions, resolve complaints, and may assist with locating items or providing product information.

Cash Handling:

This includes accurately handling cash transactions, counting change, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of a shift.
