We are a rapidly growing direct-response brand in the natural health and wellness information product space, specializing in physical books. We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mobile App Developer to spearhead the launch of our new application for existing customers, available on both iOS and Android platforms.

Initially, this will be a fixed-term contract with the potential for a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of our mobile application for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience.
• Implement core features including a custom AI chatbot, robust Shopify and Stripe integrations, and support for a freemium model.
• Integrate and optimize blog and forum functionalities within the app to foster community engagement.
• Collaborate closely with our team to translate rough design guidelines and feature lists into a functional and user-friendly application.
• Embrace and actively utilize AI development tools to expedite the development process and maintain our rapid deployment schedule.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the app's stability, performance, and security across various devices and operating systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technology trends and best practices, proactively recommending improvements and new features.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing, launching, and maintaining both iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Demonstrable expertise in integrating third-party APIs, specifically with Shopify and Stripe.
• Strong understanding of implementing AI chatbot functionalities within mobile applications.
• Experience with or a strong desire to utilize AI-powered development tools (e.g., Rork, v0) to accelerate workflow.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks for cross-platform mobile development (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile).
• Familiarity with freemium models and strategies for user monetization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.
