Financial Planning & Accounting Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planning & Accounting Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and revenue analysis. This role partners with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, improve business performance, and support strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do- Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices and monitor accounts receivable collections.
- Reconcile customer payments, billing records, and outstanding balances.
- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Develop revenue, operating expense, EBITDA, labor cost, and cash flow forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
- Build financial models to support strategic planning and business decisions.
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial performance dashboards.
- Analyze profitability by client, business unit, and service line.
- Support month-end closing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
- Partner with Operations, HR, Payroll, and Sales to develop budgets and forecasts.
- Support pricing analysis, business cases, and financial impact assessments.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance reporting, forecasting, and working capital management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Reporting, Accounting, or Corporate Finance.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, revenue analysis, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, or similar).
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is an advantage.
