Interior Designer

Job Descriptions:

• Design efficient store layouts that balance customer comfort, staff workflow, and display of eyewear products.
• Allocate appropriate space for key areas such as frame displays, consultation zones, optical exam rooms, and waiting areas.
• Create visually compelling eyewear displays that highlight product variety, seasonal collections, and premium lines.
• Develop interior design concepts that align with the optical store’s brand identity, customer demographics, and overall retail strategy.
• Ensure cohesive design elements across multiple branches, if applicable.
• Select and implement lighting solutions that provide clarity for product visibility while ensuring visual comfort for both customers and optometrists.
• Ensure proper integration of medical equipment in consultation and testing rooms.
• Create a welcoming and accessible store environment that encourages browsing and improves customer engagement.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors to ensure timely and accurate implementation of design plans.
• Ensure design layouts comply with health regulations, optometric standards, and accessibility guidelines, especially in clinical areas.
• Recommend updates and periodic refreshes of the store interior to maintain a modern and professional look.
• Stay informed on retail design trends, display technologies, and materials relevant to the optical industry to keep store aesthetics current and engaging.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Interior Design.
• Licensed Interior Designer is a plus.
• At least 3 years of design experience handling retail or restaurant projects is required for this position.
• Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Strong sense of aesthetics, space planning, and functionality
