PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST - BILINGUAL / MANDARIN SPEAKING
  • Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services by coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
  • Monitor and track procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to cost constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for both English and Mandarin speaking vendors, clients, and partners.
  • Communicate procurement requirements, timelines, and expectations clearly and effectively in both English and Mandarin languages.
  • Prepare and present reports, documents, and procurement updates in both languages as needed.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors in both languages.
  • Review, prepare, and manage contracts, purchase orders, and other procurement documentation.
  • Address any vendor-related issues and resolve disputes promptly.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate competitive pricing.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with project managers to understand and meet procurement requirements for ongoing projects.
  • Assist in developing procurement strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging procurement practices.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with legal requirements, company policies, and sustainability goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate procurement risks.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Must be excellent in oral, writing and reading skills in English and Mandarin language.
  • With or without experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a consultancy or professional services environment.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Previous experience in a bilingual role is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Experience with procurement tools and platforms is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific procurement needs or requirements.
