Systems Management Consultant (Cerner Scheduler)

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and support Cerner Scheduling (Win32) solutions
- Ensure alignment of scheduling workflows with revenue cycle processes (billing, registration, charge capture)
- Perform production support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Manage change requests, migrations, and deployments (non-prod to prod)
- Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with stakeholders for issue resolution
- Work within ticketing systems and adhere to SLAs
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Cerner
- At least 2–3 years hands-on experience with Cerner Scheduling (Win32 & Revenue Cycle) including:
- Design
- Build
- Troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of:
- Scheduling build (resources, templates, slots, appointment types)
- Revenue cycle impact (billing, registration, charge capture)
- Experience in:
- Incident handling and production support
- Change management and deployment processes
- Experience in Cerner Registration (Win32 & Revenue Cycle)
- Knowledge of:
- Discern rules, logs, tables, and Millennium tools
